About the Role

CC Electrical And Refrigeration (WA) is seeking a qualified and reliable Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. You will install, service, maintain and repair commercial and domestic refrigeration and air-conditioning systems across a variety of sites in the Perth metro area (and surrounding regions as required).

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems (cool rooms, freezers, split systems, package units, commercial display cabinets, ice machines and more)
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out efficient, compliant repairs
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance
• Safely handle refrigerants in line with ARCtick requirements
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
• Complete job sheets, reports and keep accurate records
• Work safely and comply with WHS, Australian Standards and company procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication with clients and the team

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent – e.g. UEE32225 / MEM30205)
• Current full ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Current WA Restricted Electrical Licence (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
• Current Construction White Card
• Full unrestricted Australian C-class driver’s licence
• Proven experience in commercial and/or domestic refrigeration & air conditioning
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call roster when required

Desirable

• Experience with CO₂ systems, modern controls (Emerson, Carel, etc.)
• Working at Heights / EWP ticket
• First Aid / CPR / LVR

CC Electrical And Refrigeration (WA) is looking for a qualified Electrician to join our growing team. You will carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and repairs across commercial, industrial and/or residential projects in the Perth region.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), WA electrical regulations and WHS requirements

• Proven post-trade experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

CC Electrical And Refrigeration (WA) is offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to commence a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning apprenticeship. You will receive hands-on training while working toward your Certificate III qualification and relevant licences.

What You Will Learn & Do

• Assist qualified tradespeople with the installation, servicing and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
• Learn fault diagnosis, refrigerant handling, pipework, controls and electrical aspects of HVAC-R
• Attend off-the-job training at a Registered Training Organisation (TAFE or equivalent)
• Develop safe work practices and customer service skills
• Progressively take on more responsibility as your skills develop

Essential Requirements

• Genuine interest in the refrigeration and air-conditioning trade
• Willingness to complete a full apprenticeship (including formal training)
• Current Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain before commencement)

About the Role

This is a key support role that keeps our refrigeration, air conditioning and electrical operations running smoothly. You will manage job scheduling, customer communication and day-to-day administration for our trade team.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate service calls, maintenance jobs and installations for refrigeration mechanics and electricians
• Answer incoming calls, emails and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Allocate jobs efficiently based on technician availability, location, skills and priority
• Maintain and update the job management system (Simpro)
• Prepare and issue job cards, work orders and related documentation
• Liaise with customers regarding appointment times, job status and follow-ups
• Coordinate with technicians regarding job details, parts requirements and on-site issues
• Assist with basic invoicing, purchase orders and administrative support
• Keep accurate records of jobs, customer details and technician timesheets
• Support the broader office and operations team with general admin tasks as required
• Contribute to a positive, efficient and safety-focused workplace culture

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in an administrative, scheduling or customer service role
• Familiarity with Simpro (or very similar job management / field service software)
• Familiarity with the Electrical and Air Conditioning / Refrigeration industry
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident phone manner and professional customer service approach
• Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel)
